You may occasionally see local wildlife such as deer or insects typical of the region. Resort community: Holliebear’s Hideaway is located in a peaceful resort neighborhood. A few nearby cabins may be under construction during daytime hours on weekdays only. Evenings and weekends are typically very quiet. Seasonal pool access: The community outdoor pool is seasonal, generally open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and hours are subject to weather and resort management. Pet policy: The cabin is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs with an additional fee. Pets must be crated if left alone, kept on a leash outdoors, and all pet waste must be properly disposed of. Hot tub care: The private hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced regularly. Please follow posted usage guidelines and shower before use. Temporary closures may occur if service or weather conditions require it. Starter supplies: We provide a starter supply of toiletries, paper goods, trash bags, detergent, coffee, and beverages to get you settled. Holliebear’s Hideaways is surrounded by wooded views and mountain breezes – perfect for relaxing on the deck after a day of adventures. You’ll feel tucked away with no commercial traffic, yet everything is surprisingly close: 8 minutes to Dollywood & Dollywood’s Splash Country 10 minutes to The Island, LeConte Center, and Pigeon Forge Parkway restaurants & attractions 12 minutes to Tanger Outlets Sevierville 20–25 minutes to Gatlinburg and the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park Inside Smoky Cove you’ll enjoy a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (open Memorial Day–Labor Day) just a short 3-minute walk from the cabin. The roads are paved and well-maintained with no steep mountain switchbacks, making arrival easy even in larger vehicles or at night. A few new cabins are currently under construction in the resort as the community continues to grow – you may see or hear occasional daytime builder activity (typically weekdays only), but it’s very quiet in the evenings and on weekends. While you’ll need a quick drive or Uber to reach restaurants and shows (no sidewalks or walking trails to town), guests love the calm, private feel after a busy day exploring.
